4. Think Before You Act - Your choices matter. Pay attention to how they affect others and the planet
Imagine trying to communicate with someone without any shared language, gestures, or even a shared environment. Communication would be impossible! In MFoE, the Medium provides the essential connections for interaction and exchange. It is the conduit that allows awareness to take form, information to flow, and experiences to unfold.
The Medium facilitates the perception of space and time, creating the conditions for Subjects & Objects to interact and the Observer to make sense of the world. It serves as the bridge between the abstract potential of the Void and the tangible experience of reality.
The Medium follows the Principle of Cause and Effect—every action leads to a consequence. Every choice we make has an effect, shaping both the present and what comes next. More than just an empty space, the Medium is the environment for interaction. Its value 3 describes the three basic parts: : a sender, a receiver, and a connection between them. Whether it’s a conversation, a signal traveling through space, or a decision that changes the future, everything follows this pattern. This same structure—cause, effect, and connection—is what makes time and space feel real to us. Instead of being fixed things, time and space might just be how we experience these vectors of communication.
However, without the Medium, there would be no 'stage' for interaction, no way to perceive change, and no foundation for reality as we know it. It provides the framework where space and time emerge, making movement, consequence, and transformation possible. The Medium aligns with the classical element of Earth (green), symbolizing stability, structure, and the foundation upon which all interactions take place.
Just as Earth supports ecosystems, the Medium provides the necessary conditions for awareness, exchange, and growth.
In MFoE, the Medium provides the necessary conditions to observe cause and effect, movement, and the unfolding of events we participate in. Time, space, and causality—arises along with this perception. Beyond this, it would also incorporate other "realities", multiple dimensions and varied forms of progression that might transcend our immediate awareness.
The Medium represents the framework through which interaction, structure, and consequence unfold, ensuring that cause and effect are realized within an interconnected system.
Physics: Spacetime and field theory describe the Medium as the structural framework within which all physical interactions occur.
Philosophy: Process philosophy argues that existence is defined by change, causality, and continuous interaction.
Psychology: Cognitive processing and neural networks demonstrate that the brain acts as a conduit, shaping perception through sensory and contextual input.
Computer Science: Distributed computing and cloud infrastructure function as the Medium that enables large-scale interaction and information exchange. Data pipelines and protocols ensure that information flows efficiently, maintaining cause-and-effect relationships within systems.
Theology / Faith: The Medium aligns with the Hebrew letter Gimel (ג), Assiah (World of Action), and the classical element Earth (color green), representing structure, movement, and the unfolding of consequences.
The Medium teaches us that every choice has an impact—on others, the environment, and the larger system. Understanding its role helps us act with greater awareness and intention, ensuring our actions align with positive change.
Think Before You Act — Your choices matter. Pay attention to how they affect others and the planet.
Reflect on a decision you’ve made that had a significant impact on others or your surroundings. How did your environment influence that decision? How can you act more responsibly in the future, considering the broader system in which you operate?
