3. Respect Everyone - Treat people (and the world around you) like they matter—because they do.
Have you ever wondered—if there was nothing to observe, could your awareness even exist? As an Observer, there must be more than just you. Awareness depends on a network of relationships—all the individual interaction points that create the potential for connection and exchange.
Subjects & Objects form the foundation of collective awareness—both the "I" and the "other," the self and the world, the observer and the observed. This distinction allows for relationships to form, information to flow, and meaning to emerge from the collective.
The Subjects & Objects dynamic follows the Principle of Interdependence—everything exists in relation to something else. Awareness, meaning, and experience are co-created through interactions. Nothing stands alone; all things are shaped by their connections.
Subjects & Objects define the endpoints of exchange—both senders and receivers in the dialogue of reality. Each individual and system holds a unique perspective, and it is through interaction that a complete picture emerges. Duality (value 2) enables connection, allowing relationships to form and diverse perspectives to enrich collective awareness.
Just as water flows and connects ecosystems, relationships create the conditions for meaning and growth. The Medium may provide the connection, but it is through Subjects & Objects that information and awareness move and evolve.
In MFoE, while this can be understood through social relationships and communication, it goes beyond human interaction—encompassing all Subject & Object exchanges that shape awareness, from the smallest particles to the largest systems in reality.
The Subjects & Objects dynamic represents the foundation of interaction and shared meaning, where relationships define existence, and information is exchanged between distinct entities.
Physics: Relativity and quantum entanglement demonstrate that objects and events are fundamentally interconnected, rather than existing in isolation.
Philosophy: Social constructivism suggests that meaning is co-created through relationships and shared understanding.
Psychology: Interpersonal psychology and social identity theory emphasize how self-concept develops through interactions with others.
Computer Science: Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) models systems using distinct objects that interact through defined methods. Network theory and sender-receiver models describe how data is exchanged efficiently, while signal-to-noise ratio determines the clarity of information flow.
Theology / Faith: Subjects & Objects align with the Hebrew letter Bet (ב), Yetzirah (World of Formation), and the classical element Water (color blue), signifying duality, connection, and relational experience.
The Subjects & Objects dynamic teaches us that meaning and awareness emerge through relationships—between people, systems, and the world itself. Recognizing the importance of diversity, reciprocity, and shared perspectives strengthens both individual and collective understanding.
Respect Everyone — Treat people (and the world around you) like they matter—because they do.
Reflect on how your relationships and interactions have shaped your understanding of the world. How can respecting others deepen your connections and inspire growth?
